SUPERNOVA Summer School
Aimed at pre-university students from around the world, the SUPERNOVA Summer School offers an immersive programme with dynamic workshops, practical projects, and real-world exposure. Participants collaborate with professionals in state-of-the-art laboratories, gaining insights and skills for their future development.
EUTOPIA Doctoral Summer School
The EUTOPIA Doctoral Summer School promotes an interdisciplinary approach to complex topics in modern scientific research. Targeted at doctoral students, this school broadens research horizons and encourages innovative projects with potential for recognition.
NOVA FCT Summer School
The NOVA FCT Summer School is a programme aimed at students in Years 10, 11 and 12 of the Scientific-Humanistic area of Science and Technology for the 2024/25 academic year. Participants will experience unique scientific and pedagogical activities in the fields of science, engineering and technology, led by NOVA FCT professors and researchers. Alongside the scientific programme, participants can enjoy recreational and sporting activities that promote integration, creativity and academic spirit. Taking part in the NOVA FCT Summer School also enables us to support high school students in choosing their future university path!
NOVA FCSH Summer Courses
The NOVA FCSH Summer School, which takes place between July and August, offers short-term training courses lasting 15 or 25 hours. The school aims to provide a space for curricular experimentation, interdisciplinarity and internationalisation. This school offers teachers, researchers and students the opportunity to participate in collaborative and creative activities, which is an excellent way to develop skills, update knowledge and deepen academic understanding. Proposals include the Summer Course in Portuguese as a Foreign Language (levels A1 to C1) and the Intensive Online Portuguese Course for Level A2 students.
NOVA Medical School Summer School
NOVA Medical School offers a programme dedicated to advanced healthcare, with a focus on disease prevention. Located in central Lisbon, this school provides an immersive experience in cutting-edge facilities, allowing students to explore new medical approaches in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

ITQB NOVA Summer Science
Summer Science is a summer internship program that gives undergraduate students (2nd and 3rd years) the opportunity to learn about the science done at ITQB NOVA, from behind the scenes to the front lines. For one week, students are integrated into a research laboratory, where they develop a scientific project. In addition, they participate in scientific discussions, workshops and social activities.
